MPOG is a 92 mile offshore oil gathering system which transports shelf and deepwater production from various fields in the Main Pass and Viosca Knoll areas offshore southeastern Louisiana. The pipeline has a capacity of 160,000+ barrels per day and is comprised of 62 miles of 18” mainline from MP225 west to 4 miles of 20” mainline connecting into MP69 with downstream connections to the Cypress and Delta pipeline systems delivering onshore to the Louisiana Empire terminal, other mainlines, and refineries.
