BP Pipelines (North America) Inc., owns and operates pipeline assets
along the Gulf Coast that connect Texas City, Texas to refined products
markets in the US Midwest and Southeast. Connections to these markets
are made through the Colonial, TEPPCO and Explorer pipelines. The 12"
refined products line is 31.2 miles long. It has one origin point at the
Logan Station in Texas City, Texas.
The 12" line receives refined products from refiners in the Texas City,
Texas area and has two delivery points - Kinder Morgan Pasadena Terminal
and Magellan Midstream Terminal.
The 18" refined products line is 36.2 miles long and is located to the east of
the 12" line. The line originates in Texas City, Texas and receives finished
product from BP Texas City Refinery and the Valero Refinery. There are three
delivery points for the 18" line, two at the Kinder Morgan Pasadena Terminal
and Magellan Midstream Terminal and one delivery point located at Carr
Junction for delivery to Oil Tanking.
The 8" normal butane line is 32.0 miles long and runs north/northwest from
Texas City, Texas to the TEPPCO Baytown, Texas Terminal. The line receives/delivers
butane at Texas City to/from TEPPCO Baytown.
